Product Description:

Main applications: This product is suitable for use on glass cover plates, metal surfaces, polyester paint surfaces, ceramic glazes, etching ink, cover plate ink, boil-resistant and water-resistant inks, acid and alkali resistant inks. It can be used for bonding between glass or between glass and aluminum alloy, as a base for glass vacuum plating, and on metal surfaces.

 

Processes: Screen printing, roller coating, spraying, adhesives, etc. It is soluble in conventional UV monomers, resins, and similar substances.

 

Typical performance characteristics:

  • Excellent adhesion (3M tape test shows      no peeling), excellent yellowing resistance, withstands water immersion      for 72 hours, resistant to cutting fluids, boil-resistant for 2 hours,      withstands 5% NaOH solution, good acid resistance, hardness ≥1H (this      product's special feature is its one-time UV mercury lamp curing for water      immersion and boiling resistance).

  • After UV curing, can be further cured      by infrared heating to promote adhesion, or baked at 180 degrees Celsius      for 30 minutes for better results.

  • Number of functional groups: 2, curing      energy: 2500-3500 mJ/cm², soluble in ketones, esters, and aromatic      solvents.

  • Molecular weight (Mw): 2500-3000.

 

Test formula: (using a 30µm wire rod)

  • 2215: 90g

  • 184: 0.5g

  • TPO: 0.5g (can be replaced with other      initiators as needed)

  • NPGDA: 9g/100g (can be replaced with      other monomers and resins as needed)

Note: Greater curing energy results in better water resistance. Recommended usage and storage temperature is below 25 degrees Celsius. During processing, try to avoid prolonged exposure to air or processing temperatures exceeding 40°C. Seal immediately after use for better water resistance. The less initiator used, the better the water resistance. Dissolve the initiator in monomers and cool before adding. When adding colorants, it is recommended to adjust them with monomers before adding. Prolonged exposure to air or high temperatures may reduce adhesion of this resin. The cured coating shows better water resistance after prolonged storage.

Storage and validity period:

1: This product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated room, and strictly protected from light exposure for stable storage.

2: Keep the resin away from heat sources and store it in a dark place to prevent potential hazards or affecting the stability of resin storage.

3: When stored at room temperature, it remains stable for six months. After use, please tightly seal the container to avoid exposure to light sources and gelation.
